Today, an innovative patented, non-invasive medical technique has developed as an alternative to surgery. It is an alternative for people who do not wish to have surgery.
It is called Plexr (plasma exeresis): it allows medical and aesthetic procedures to be performed without anaesthesia or scalpel. This technique avoids the risks associated with surgery. Plexr is a revolution in eyelid lifting without surgery as well as in the correction of crow's feet wrinkles.
Plexr (a technique developed by Professor Fippi) uses plasma energy to treat the sagging upper and lower eyelids as a priority.
Depending on the intensity of the plasma generated, this technique can treat other indications:
• Skin appearance: Skin spots, acne scars, stretch marks…
• Dermatology: Angioma, acne, xanthelasma, warts…
• Rejuvenation: Sudden folds, ear folds, wrinkles and sagging skin.
Plexr delivers a small ionizing current when it approaches the skin surface from which it sprays the excess. This small current also called plasma will allow to sublimate the tissues without electrical contact. The heat it causes leads to controlled surface abrasion and then immediate retraction of the skin. It is safe, without bleeding and without incisions.

After disinfecting the skin, an EMLA anaesthetic cream will be applied 30 minutes before the session on the area concerned.
The Plexr comes in the form of a pen that sends small flashes of light without touching the skin.
The patient opens and closes his/her eyes to properly mark the excess skin folds to be removed, allowing the doctor to target very precise shooting points in the shape of a triangle, zigzag or staggered pattern. You feel a slight heating.
As soon as the treatment is completed, the doctor disinfects the skin by tapping without removing the charring crusts.
Depending on the importance, one to four sessions are necessary. Each session is one month apart.
The procedure takes 20 to 30 minutes.
The return to the home or hotel is done just after the session.
Within 24 to 48 hours, inflammation and transient edema may form in the treated area, lasting 2 to 4 days in 25% of cases.
The plexr creates small scabs on the surface of the skin that will remain between 3 to 7 days, do not scratch or tear them off. Nor should cream be applied. As it falls, slight redness will appear. The skin is slowly restructured.
The result is visible after 5 to 7 days.
Sun protection is essential for 1 month.

• Pregnant woman
• Dark skins (from phototype IV onwards) represent a higher risk of hypo-type spots or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
